Manage the day to day international line maintenance operations through a team of Engineering Managers in the responsible regions.
Ensure line station capability is setup to HKAR-145 standards and meet the Airlines’ operational requirements.
Ensure the maintenance, carried out at approved Cathay Pacific Airways (CPA)/ Cathay Dragon (HDA)/ Air Hong Kong (AHK) line stations, meets Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD), HKAR-145 and/or the national aviation authority requirements,
Ensure line stations efficiency, operational performance and safety standards are maintained at optimal levels.
Build and manage effective relationships with Regional General Managers/ Country Managers.
Drive for continual improvement of operations, business development and suppliers management.
Ensure effective management of company procedure training and technical training to support the international line maintenance operations.
Ensure effective and efficiency management of Aircraft on ground (AOG) recoveries, ad hoc maintenance requirements, Emergency and Accident (E&A) at line stations.
Manage line stations technical basic and non-basic delays performance, carry out investigation, implement corrective actions and drive for improvement.
Manage and carried out investigations of MOR/ ASR/ CSR/ GSR and ensure effective mitigations are in place.
Ensure Safety Management System (SMS) process is implemented in the responsible regions, operational and business risks are assessed, reviewed and mitigation plans are in place.
Ensure effective management of the new aircraft delivery program.
Ensure the Line Maintenance procedures/ policy/ manuals are developed and maintained up-to-date to support the international line maintenance operations.
Carry out new station assessments and coordinate with Airport Headquarters (AHQ) on SGHA for technical and ramp services providers selection.
Implement third party business sales strategy and direct marketing activity globally through industry forums e.g. IATP conference for the responsible regions.
Ensure Contract Compliance for both the LM business and all procurement contracts.
Develop KPIs, service levels and monitoring process to track and manage suppliers’ performance.
Manage and execute Cathay Dragon and Air Hong Kong Fleet Technical Management contract for Line Maintenance.

Manage Engineering Managers and team performance by setting up effective competencies and SMART Goals, and personal development/ career plans.
Team succession and development planning, including structured training program.
Apply Lean principles to identify business value and remove wastage at work environment to achieve efficient and productivity gain.
Carry out performance appraisal for the Engineering Managers and other department staff as required.
Minimum 9.5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and/ or engineering. Relevant experience in managing line maintenance operation is preferable.
Degree in Engineering/ Aerospace discipline or Aircraft Maintenance Licence holder.
Proven experience in managing both line maintenance and commercial matters.
Proven management skills and ability to manage projects across teams.
Strong in communication, influencing and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts.
